Raasta Foundation Trust values transparency and ensures that all donations, event registrations, and contributions are handled with utmost accountability. Our cancellation policy outlines the terms for canceling donations, event registrations, or other transactions made through our trust.
1. Donation Cancellation
All donations made to Raasta Foundation Trust are considered final and cannot be canceled once processed. Donations are voluntary contributions intended for charitable purposes, and canceling a donation is not typically allowed, as funds are immediately allocated toward our ongoing projects and initiatives.
2. Event Registration Cancellation
In case you have registered for an event organized by Raasta Foundation Trust and need to cancel your registration, the following conditions apply:
- Cancellation by the Participant: If you wish to cancel your event registration, you must notify us at least 7 days before the event date to be eligible for a partial refund or transfer of registration to another event. A processing fee may apply.
- Cancellation by Raasta Foundation Trust: If the trust cancels an event due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified, and a full refund will be provided within 10 business days. Alternatively, participants may choose to transfer their registration to a future event.
3. Workshop or Program Cancellation
If you have enrolled in any workshops or programs conducted by Raasta Foundation Trust and wish to cancel your participation:
- Cancellation by Participant: You must notify us at least 7 days before the program start date. In such cases, a partial refund may be provided, subject to a processing fee. Refund requests made less than 7 days before the program start date will not be eligible for refunds.
- Cancellation by Raasta Foundation Trust: In case a workshop or program is canceled by us, full refunds will be issued to all participants or the option to transfer the registration to a future program will be offered.
4. Tax-Exempt Donations
Once a donation receipt is issued for tax purposes (under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961), the donation cannot be canceled or refunded. This is to comply with tax exemption laws and maintain transparency in fund management.
5. Cancellation of Volunteer Participation
Volunteers who have signed up to participate in activities with Raasta Foundation Trust and need to cancel their commitment are requested to notify the trust at least 5 days in advance of the scheduled activity. This ensures smooth planning and minimal disruption to our events and services.
6. Changes to Cancellation Policy
Raasta Foundation Trust reserves the right to modify or update this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated policy will take effect immediately upon posting. It is recommended to review the policy periodically for any updates.
