2. Donations and Contributions

Donors confirm that the funds or goods provided are lawfully theirs to donate. Raasta Foundation Trust is registered under the relevant Indian charitable acts, and donations will be used solely for the trust’s objectives, including education, social welfare, and community upliftment. Donations are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, where applicable.
3. Volunteering
Volunteers agree to contribute their time and skills for the advancement of Raasta Foundation Trust’s objectives. All volunteers are expected to adhere to the trust’s policies and code of conduct while representing the organization. Raasta Foundation Trust retains the right to assign tasks and terminate volunteer positions as per organizational needs. Volunteers will not be entitled to any monetary compensation unless otherwise stated.
4. Use of Funds
Funds collected through donations, grants, or other contributions will be used solely for the objectives of Raasta Foundation Trust as defined in its governing document. These objectives include, but are not limited to, educational support, women and child welfare, senior care, environmental initiatives, and poverty alleviation. The trustees hold the discretion to allocate funds in line with the trust’s priorities and in compliance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA), where applicable.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
Raasta Foundation Trust is committed to protecting the privacy of its donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries in accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. We collect and store personal data, such as names, contact information, and donation details, solely for the purpose of communication, transparency, and legal compliance. We will not share personal information with any third parties without explicit consent unless required by law or regulatory bodies.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials, including text, logos, and images, provided on Raasta Foundation Trust’s website or through its communication channels, are the intellectual property of the trust. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of this material for commercial purposes is prohibited. Any misuse of intellectual property will be subject to legal action under the Copyright Act, 1957.
7. Event Participation and Programs
By participating in events or programs organized by Raasta Foundation Trust, participants agree to follow the event-specific guidelines provided by the trust. Raasta Foundation Trust reserves the right to cancel or modify events without prior notice. Participants are responsible for their conduct during the events and may be removed from participation if found in violation of the trust’s standards or Indian laws. Participation is at one’s own risk, and the trust will not be held liable for any unforeseen incidents.
8. Limitation of Liability
Raasta Foundation Trust will not be held liable for any losses, injuries, or damages arising from participation in its programs, volunteering activities, or use of services. All users and volunteers assume personal responsibility for their actions. The trust will make reasonable efforts to ensure safety and compliance with Indian laws but cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond its control.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising in relation to Raasta Foundation Trust’s activities or terms will be governed by the laws of India and resolved in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. In case of unresolved disputes, the matter will be referred to the courts in Haryana, India, where Raasta Foundation Trust is registered.
10. Amendments to Terms
Raasta Foundation Trust reserves the right to revise or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via our website, and it is the responsibility of users and participants to review the updated terms. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Haryana, India.
